"Doing The Best I Can", Fuzzy Logic's new recording, is a Mystery Tour that travels deep into the recesses of pop culture, courtesy of Liz Sumner- vocalist, and Michael Cohen- multi-instrumentalist. Michael and Liz performed as a duo for several years before linking up with Gina, Gil, and Steve. On this cd they expand their tonal pallette to include a wide range of instrumentation beyond Michael's usual tasteful guitar backing. Liz gets to do some beautiful harmonizing with herself, something she rarely does in a live performance. There are also some guest performances by monster talents John Schindler, Mary Armstrong and Steve Bourque (the Bongo King).

The 14 original songs cover the emotional spectrum, from the heartbreaking ballads "I Wish I Knew" and "Scene of Your Crime" to poetic travelogues like "Summer Samba" and "Island Lullaby". Along the way you'll encounter vampires, space aliens, beatniks, and learn the truth about conspiracy theories, cats, and firm thighs, not to mention some very useful relationship advice.
